So often we rush through meals, for example, eating in our cars while driving and not always selecting the healthiest options. Many of us swallow our food before completely chewing it. Sometimes we hardly even taste what we are putting into our mouths. Eating mindfully invites us to slow down, taste our food, and use the process of eating as a practice to help us become fully present.
